LAST SEEN…
Yash
and Sahana were the most famous couple in the whole college. Their relationship
was accepted by their parents also. Both were pursuing their masters and became
friends and soon this friendship turned into love.
Sahana was too
possessive about Yash. She didn’t like when he spoke with other girls. Maybe it
was because she loved him a lot. Yash always tried to convince her that she was
only his love. He loved her not anyone else. At that moment she would be fine.
They completed
their masters and as planned they thought of getting married after settling
down with good jobs.
Yash got a call
from reputed company in France and Sahana was left with a job in her hometown Delhi.
Both were very sad about parting away. They promised each other that distance
would never make their relationship weak. With all the promises and with a sad
heart of leaving his beloved Yash flew.
Yash and Sahana
were connected through the most famous app now a days “Watssapp”. In between
when both got free time they used to chat, send voice message. Though they were
miles away from each other their hearts remained close.
Their day started
with a “good morning “text. In this way
few months passed. Yash started getting busy with his work. He couldn’t give
sufficient time to Sahana. This irritated Sahana a lot. She used to think maybe
he is ignoring her. The main reason what made her to think was yash’s “last
seen” on Watssapp. Even though Yash was online he didn’t reply her. When sahana
spoke about this with yash he told that he is busy with his job and he uses “Watssapp”
for official purposes now a days.
Sahana was not
satisfied with Yash’s explanation. Soon the texts were reduced. It was reduced
from daily to weekly. Sahana started doubting on Yash, she started feeling
maybe he is in love with someone else over there.
And one day there
was a big fight on the “last seen “issue between the both. This time Yash too
lost his patience and told Sahana that if she didn’t trust him she can leave
this relation. Sahana was shocked and broken. She blamed yash and told that he
was saying so because he loved someone else there and wanted to get rid of her.
Next day after
the fight Yash started feeling sorry. He took a day off from his work and
decided to talk to sahana the whole day.
He texted her.
But she was offline. He waited for her. Finally she came online. Yash
apologized. Even sahana felt maybe she was wrong. Yash was her love and how can
she judge him on the basis of “last seen”. Finally both decided that they will
never fight just because of “last seen” . Love is based on trust not on the
last seen or relationship status on social networking sites.
*******************************************************************************************
This may just be a story with happy endings.
But there are many relationships which are broken due to such silly reasons.
Technology has given us a lot but it has taken away from us the most precious
things i.e. love, trust, loyalty, honesty, etc. With the advancement of such
apps and social networking sites relationship has become that easy as of eating
a chewing gum and spitting it.
I must say common
sense is inversely proportional to technology and education.
