The Unpaid Soldiers
With every breaking dawn,
You wake up with a yawn.
Start
off your day
In
a unique way,
Hurrying
and getting ready,
Bidding
us bye.
When
you think of sighing,
The
scrubber says hai.
There
starts your set of tasks,
The
clock is ticking nine.
You
are ready soldier,
Marching
on a line.
The
home looks best,
And
you make sure there are no pests.
Its
half past ten,
The
brunch is on the couch,
O!
Yet again!
You
forgot it without any grouch.
The
soldiers are striding,
Moving
ahead with pride.
Applauding
alone,
And
finishing it by own.
The
aroma fills the apartment,
Waiting
for us to gobble.
Still
I crave for those,
Burgers,
pizza and bubble
Her
stern face,
Makes
me gulp it all,
Without
any fall.
Here
comes the dusk,
Rest
is all you want.
Filling
the place with musk,
Here’s
your chance to flaunt.
Waiting for the one,
Who
held your hand?
Arrives
in rage,
Is
that what you deserve?
In
the name of wage!
Picking
up broken pieces,
Cleaning
up the mess,
Ready
for compromises,
With
a hope of surprises.
They
neither tire, nor fire,
They
neither complain,
Sometimes
strain.
I
wonder how they are trained,
To
work continuously without drained?
These
are the soldiers, who must be highly paid,
For
their endless effort to keep us braid.
Always ready to fight,
My
fearless warrior.
Always
ready to protect,
In
the absence of barrier.
You
are worth praise,
In
every page of book.
You
are one I look,
In
each stage of fall,
And
each phase of rise.
The
blanket of love,
Always
keeps us warm.
The
jacket of care,
Protects
with no harm.
Wiping
away those tears,
Is
that all you do?
Piling
all the sadness,
Fixing
with glue.
Your Smile is the light,
Which
is always bright.
Do we bother to repay?
for they are turning grey!
Never wait for long,
till they are gone!
Now its the time,
lets start right away,
Help them all day!
make them happy,
make them play!
I
salute those soldiers,
Whose
jobs burden their shoulders!
Yet
keep sparkling,
Without
a pinch of disheartening.
May
we take up an oath?
To
never shower them with loathe!
Appreciate
their sacrifice,
For
under their feet lies paradise.
